Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our IT team and provide day-to-day technical support to our users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of IT systems and technologies.

The successful candidate will assist in troubleshooting technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and delivering reliable, customer-focused IT support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common IT problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and IT equipment.
  • Assist with user account management, access permissions, and authentication tools.
  • Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
  • Support basic system administration tasks, including updates, configurations, and security settings.
  • Assist with network-related tasks such as basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting and device setup.
  • Help maintain IT security standards and follow best practices.
  • Support and assist with basic CCTV, biometric, and door access system installations when required.
  • Stay informed about current IT trends and emerging technologies and apply learnings on the job.

Required Skills

  • Associate’s degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Some experience in IT support, helpdesk, technical support, or a related role (internship or entry-level experience is acceptable).
  • Basic working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following tools or platforms:
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
    • Google Workspace
    • Slack
    • Remote desktop or remote support tools
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including network protocols, firewalls, and LAN/WAN environments.
  • Awareness of IT security principles and common system and network risks.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and follow IT best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic knowledge or exposure to CCTV systems, biometrics, or door access controls.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
