Business Development Representative | Remote (PH)
Job Summary
We are looking for a high-caliber Strategic BDR to serve as the growth engine of our client’s firm. You will sit at the intersection of Fintech and Private Markets, acting as the critical bridge between Limited Partners (Investors) and top-tier Fund Managers. This is not a “high-volume cold calling” role. It is a sophisticated, high-touch position where you will work directly with our founding executive team to build the “connective tissue” of our business. You will help design the systems that allow us to scale our Assets Under Management (AUM) and market presence globally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Matchmaking
- Identify and engage Institutional Investors, Family Offices, and HNWIs.
- Analyze investor mandates to ensure high-conviction alignment with our fund manager partners.
- Manage the initial “handshake” and move prospects from cold interest to Data Room review.
Scaling & Operations (Working with the COO)
- Partner with the COO to optimize our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) and refine lead-scoring models.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and implement automated workflows to increase pipeline velocity.
- Assist in building out the “Growth Playbook” for future hires.
Executive Partnership (Working with the CEO)
- Translate high-level business targets into actionable outbound strategies.
- Provide “boots on the ground” market intelligence to the C-suite regarding investor sentiment and competitive movements.
Brand & Marketing
- Draft highly personalized, “no-fluff” outreach that resonates with sophisticated financial executives.
- Balance aggressive growth targets with strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field relevant to corporate training.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, delivering, and managing corporate training programs, preferably within a BPO, corporate, or customer‑focused environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate policies, compliance standards, and data protection requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), with experience delivering compliance-related training.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and QA data to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences through effective facilitation and instructional design.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Operations, QA, Leadership, and Client stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, CRM tools, ticketing systems, and other training‑related technologies.
- Ability to facilitate both virtual and in‑person training sessions and travel to different sites as required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and continuous learning.
Desired Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role within Fintech, WealthTech, or Fund Placement.
- Familiarity with structured sales frameworks like MEDDIC, Challenger, or Sandler.
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads, email deliverability, or marketing automation.
- Ability to build basic performance dashboards in Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Multi-lingual capabilities for engaging global Family Offices.
